The Institute for Continuing Professional Development in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety (I-QIPS) supports the professional development of BCM faculty and staff interested in pursuing careers in quality improvement by recognizing those who contribute to improvements in healthcare quality and patient safety across the College and its affiliated institutions.
QIPS Scholar Award
The Quality Improvement and Patient Safety (QIPS) Scholar Award recognizes Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) and BCM-affiliated faculty and staff for their commitment to and active involvement in quality improvement and patient safety (QI/PS) initiatives. This criterion-based award honors individuals who have made substantive contributions to QIPS scholarship and innovation in one or more areas. In addition to recognizing these achievements, the award may also support a recipient's candidacy for promotion, particularly for those with a focus on quality improvement and patient safety.
