The LHI course includes a series of required workshop sessions and a poster presentation; the scheduled dates are listed below. Additionally, the course is eligible for CME credit. More information is available on the course overview page.

This is an advanced-level training course that will be offered through the Institute one to two times per academic year, depending on demand.

Required Workshop Sessions

In order to remain enrolled in the course, participants are required to attend all of the noted workshop sessions and participate in the required Poster Presentation.

Required Poster Presentation

Course participants are required to participate in the VA Quality Scholars Summer Institute 2019 Annual Meeting by presenting a "Work-In-Progress" Poster (of their improvement project) during the scheduled Poster Session. The full meeting is scheduled for August 13 - 15, 2019. Information regarding the poster session, meeting registration (no fee required), schedule, and location details to be announced. Questions may be directed to the email noted at the bottom of this page.

Optional Activity

Course participants are not required to attend the Baylor College of Medicine 6th Annual Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Conference, but they are encouraged to do so.
