QI Jump Start - Fall 2019

APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN!

Applications are now open for the next QI Jump Start Intermediate-Level Training Course, which includes a series of required workshop sessions and a poster presentation. Prior to applying, please read carefully the course schedule and requirements provided below and on the course overview page.

This course is eligible for CME credit and there is no charge to attend. It is open to BCM faculty and staff, although space is limited.

Deadline: In order to be considered, applications (which include a required Letter of Support) must be received by 11:59 PM CT on Sunday, June 30, 2019

Please remember that, unless you complete the application fully and hit the "submit" button at the end of the form, your application will not be submitted for review!

Course participants are required to attend each of the workshop sessions noted below.

  • Session 1: Tuesday, 09-10-2019 - Introduction
  • Session 2: Tuesday, 10-01-2019 - Problem Analysis
  • Session 3: Tuesday, 10-22-2019 - QI Tools and Measures
  • Session 4: Tuesday, 11-12-2019 - Data Collection and Analysis
  • Session 5: Tuesday, 12-03-2019 - PDSA and QI Scholarship
  • Session 6: Tuesday, 12-17-2019 - Additional Coaching and Feedback (Project Template and "Work-In-Progress" Poster Due)

Location: Texas Medical Center (exact location to be announced)

Time: 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
