  • Session 3: Thursday, 01-10-2019 - QI Tools and Measures
  • Session 4: Thursday, 01-31-2019 - Data Collection and Analysis
  • Session 5: Thursday, 02-21-2019 - PDSA and QI Scholarship
  • Session 6: Thursday, 03-21-2019 - Coaching and Feedback (Project Template and "Work-In-Progress" Poster Due)

Optional Activity

Course participants are not required to attend the Baylor College of Medicine 6th Annual Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Conference, but they are encouraged to do so.

  • Location: The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Mitchell Basic Science Research Building, Onstead Auditorium, 3rd Floor (6767 Bertner Avenue, Houston, TX 77030) 
  • Registration Deadline: Sunday, April 21 (registration required; no fee to register.) [For Registration Information]
  • Poster Abstract Submission Deadline (extended): Friday, March 1 [For Abstract Submission Form]

Any course participants interested in submitting a poster abstract are welcome to do so. Abstracts will be peer-reviewed, and the top 64 abstracts will be selected for poster presentation. The top faculty abstract and the top two trainee abstracts will be selected for oral presentations.

Optional Poster Presentation

Course participants are welcome to participate in the upcoming VA Quality Scholars Summer Institute's 2019 Annual Meeting by presenting their "Work-In-Progress" Poster during the scheduled Poster Session. For more information, please contact us at the email noted below.
